I spoke with someone from Autodesk yesterday.  Their products include AutoCAD, Inventor and other design programs that are widely used by industry.  They're willing to "give us whatever software we want" after our makerspace is open.  Licenses typically cost $5k to $8K+ so their offer is worth tens of thousands of dollars.

We'll need computer workstations to run their software on.  So we're looking for donations of newer computers, components such as graphics cards with some horsepower, and LCD monitors.
