Open to get to meet you soon. Love the alternative energy connection. Would love to pick your brain about it.

Hello Cameron and welcome to our community. Haven't seen a home brew bio-diesel processor/generator since I was in Florida about ten years ago. Pretty cool stuff. I'm also into sustainability. I ride my bike pretty much everywhere. But I am wondering what I'm going to do this winter.

Did you have to convert your car, or does it accept bio-diesel by default. Or are bio-diesel and diesel engines compatible with the fuel?

Also, have you been told we have been meeting every Thursday? We eat dinner and talk. I hope you will be able to join us.

Hi Cameron,

I'm looking looking forward to meeting you.  We share some of the same interests and I also have a mill and lathe, although mine aren't full-size.  - Rob

Hello everyone! My name is Cameron and I just found out about this, and I'm going to just "jump right in". I'm SUPER excited that there is a group of people working to put a "maker space" together. I hope that I can contribute in a useful way. I've got a lot of experience with computers and I'm fairly handy with electronics. I've done a bit of work with AVR microcontrollers and designed some of my own circuit boards. I'm fascinated by alternative/renewable energy. I've built my own bio-diesel processor and successfully driven thousands of miles on homebrew fuel. I've got a full size metal lathe and full size mill that are sitting idle and should be put to good use. I look forward to meeting other like minded people in person.
