We’re going to have a very informal “burger” meeting this Thursday night at 6 PM. It will be at Peppermints Family Restaurant, which is located at 4870 West Henrietta Rd. It’s just south of McDonalds and not far from the Lehigh Station Road exit of Rt 390.
You’ll be able to meet some of the other members of our group and have your questions answered. We’d also like to get your ideas and input on a number of topics, especially about where we should locate our makerspace and how much space we need to get started.
We still have a lot to discuss, decide and do before we can open our doors. So we’re going to another informal meeting on Thursday, October 4th. We’re open to suggestions about where to have it and we’re also willing to change the time if 6 PM is not convenient for many of you.

We owe you a big thanks for mentioning us on Reddit. We’ve received an extra 500-600 pageviews in the last few days and seven or eight people have signed up for our email announcement list. I don’t know exactly where they are but their IP addresses are in the Rochester area.
BTW, in the last week we’ve found two places that we might rent. I hope to have more details by Thursday.
We’re probably going to meet at McGregors at 1129 Empire Blvd, across the street from Irondequoit Bay. And we’re going to move the time to 7 PM. They’ve got a quiet side room we can probably use and you can order something for dinner if you want or just have coffee or a beer.
I’ll be sending out an email announcement either tonight or tomorrow.

We haven’t decided on a place. Do you have any suggestions? We’re looking for a place that’s centrally located and where we can talk without disturbing others.
