We have two new additions to announce here at the Rochester Makerspace!
A very generous person who prefers to remain anonymous has donated a new 3D printer (shown above). The Lulzbot Mini, a high end device for the “do-is-yourself” market has fewer bugs and complications than other older types of printers. This one is expected to work more quickly and easily and with a higher level of precision. It will not only allow our makers to produce better projects, but will also allow us to print better parts for our older 3D printers, which will allow them to run more smoothly and with better precision as well!
In addition to our new 3D printer, the Fairport Public Library has donated several new work stations which have been installed in our main work room. They have allowed us to create more space for more makers to be working on their projects at the same time.
We want to acknowledge our wonderful donors whose generousity helps us to keep on growing and making! Thank you!
